Amcor are the world's biggest packaging company. That's a fact! So when their Flexibles Europe & Americas division (based in Brussels) contacted us to work alongside them on their new-look newsletter - Connecting the Dots - we were not only thrilled to bits, but knew this project would be perfect to showcase our full range of in-house abilities.
The brief: a 28pp printed document, co-ordinating the translation into 14 separate language versions, and manage the logistics of delivering to 91 destinations across 25 countries. Countless conversations ensued, how will this work? How can we save budget? What are the logistics challenges?
We finalised the project parameters within budget and deadline requirements, and put these into a tightly managed production schedule with KPI's and reporting mechanisms - making sure the team within Amcor were kept up-to-date every step of the way.
Working closely with Amcor's design team in Brussels, we liaised carefully on our pre-press expertise and their artwork setup, and certainly proved our project management capabilities... To help with budgets, we recommended overprinting the 14 different languages - keeping the vibrancy of the original design balanced with the cost-efficiency of using black only for text.
A crucial part of the process is delivery and logistics. It's no mean feat but we're proud to confirm that all 92 deliveries sent across the world, from South America to the Far East and all over Europe, arrived without a hitch - and all on time.
Ongoing, we're working on various live projects for Amcor, and we're also delighted to have been asked produce the next series of newsletters...
