pace were delighted to work alongside Gordano School on their recent Comenius logo competition. The winner was Ollie Wood and he had this to say about his experience at pace.

As part of our Comenius project, students from Gordano and our partner school in Germany were asked to submit a logo to represent our project “Working Together in Europe”. Year 10 student Ollie Wood’s design was chosen as the winning entry by members of the design team at pace, Clevedon. Ollie was invited to pace's design studio to re-create his logo in a format that could be widely used across all applications. Working alongside  Studio Manager Allan Finnie, Ollie was given the opportunity to use industry standard equipment and software.

Ollie said,  “I recently spent a day working with the graphic design company pace to develop a logo I created for Gordano School’s German Comenius Exchange project. The team were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the very beginning, encouraging me to get involved with their software and giving a tour of the printing processes. Mr Allan Finnie helped me to recreate my design and really gave me an insight into the world of graphics, and the range of stages involved in creating a project tailored to a client’s needs.I thoroughly enjoyed my time with pace, and am incredibly pleased with the results; I would happily recommend their team to anyone looking to develop in graphic design. "I was impressed with how endlessly helpful and friendly the pace team were, and thoroughly enjoyed working to develop my design with Allan”
